Oh mensen wat hebben jullie je best gedaan met deze hashtag challenge! In de maand juli was het deze keer #onlyonegalette en ik heb heel veel moois voorbij zien komen.
Ook ik probeer elke keer mijzelf uit te dagen met het nieuwe onderwerp. Zo zie je hier een taartje maar met een witte fotoachtergrond en daarna een grotere galette met een zwarte achtergrond.

Oh, people, what have you done your best with this hashtag challenge! In the month of July it was #onlyonegalette this time and I have seen a lot of beautiful things passing by.
Every time I try to challenge myself with the new subject. Here you see a cake but with a white photo background and then a larger galette with a black background.

Met al dit verschillende fruit (je kunt het recept op haar blog vinden) en de witte achtergrond oogt de galette lekker fris en super zomers. Ook heeft ze het bakpapier gebruikt wat voor een extra laag zorgt.
With all these different fruits (you can find the recipe on her blog) and the white background the galette looks nice and fresh and super summery. She also used the baking paper which gives her an extra layer.

Voor de maand augustus 2019 is de challenge #onlyonebread
Speciaal voor nu omdat het zomervakantie is heb ik deze gekozen. Want de meeste mensen zijn op vakantie maar in elk land kun je wel een mooi brood kopen. Of je bent thuis en hebt wel de tijd om bijvoorbeeld een zuurdesem brood te bakken.
For the month of August 2019 the challenge is #onlyonebread
Especially for now because it’s summer vacation I have chosen this one. Because most people are on holiday but in every country you can buy a nice loaf of bread. Or you are at home and have time to bake a sourdough bread, for example.
Tips voor het fotograferen van brood
- Koop een mooi brood bij de bakker.
- Bak zelf een brood en maak foto’s van het proces. Dus van het deeg maken, een foto met handen, van de ingrediënten.
- Maak een actie foto bijvoorbeeld van bloem met handen of het schenken van water. Gebruik een statief, een afstandsbediening of een app waarmee je jezelf op de foto kunt zetten. Of vraag je buurvrouw.
- Kijk naar het licht, wil je ochtendlicht, avondlicht of gebruik je het “golden hour” licht.
- Welke ondergrond gebruik je…..een donkere, een lichte of een met een kleur. In mijn shop heb ik verschillende achtergronden die je zelf kunt afdrukken op vinyl.
- Maak zelf een foto achtergrond. Op mijn Youtube kanaal heb ik verschillend voorbeelden hoe je zelf makkelijk een backdrop kunt maken. Of kijk bij mijn blogs “DIY” hoe je deze zelf maakt.
- Maak uit verschillende hoeken een foto: een flatlay (van bovenaf), 3/4 (dat is 45 graden) of volledig van de zijkant. Kijk wat het mooist is voor je onderwerp.
- Kijk of je alleen het brood wilt fotograferen of een gehele tafelsetting wilt maken. Dus een tafel dekken met bordjes en drinken.
Tips for photographing bread
- Buy some nice bread at the baker’s.
- Bake your own bread and take pictures of the process. So make a picture of the dough, a picture with hands, of the ingredients.
- Take an action photo of, for example, flour with hands or pouring water. Use a tripod, a remote control or an app with which you can put yourself on the photo. Or ask your neighbour.
- Look at the light, want your morning light, evening light or use the “golden hour” light.
- Which surface do you use….a dark one, a light one or one with a colour. In my shop I have different backgrounds that you can print on vinyl.
- Make your own photo background. On my Youtube channel I have several examples of how you can easily make your own backdrop. Or look at my blogs “DIY” to see how you make these yourself.
- Take a picture from different angles: a flatlay (from above), 3/4 (which is 45 degrees) or completely from the side. See what is best for your subject.
- See if you only want to photograph the bread or if you want to make a complete table setting. So set a table with plates and drinks.

- Maak verschillende foto’s van een brood. Of probeer elke week een ander brood.
- Wat heb je nog niet uitgeprobeerd? Een nieuwe compositie, een nieuwe backdrop?
