Something about beverages is so enticing; whether it’s a craft cocktail or a plain cup of coffee, the temptation of a refreshing beverage is so visible. I love capturing that temptation. My name is Kamile Kaveckaite, online you can find me as Kamile Kave. I’m a food photographer based in The Hague, and today I’ll be teaching you how to take exciting and dynamic pictures of delicious refreshing drinks. But first, here’s a little bit about me:
All my life I wanted to become an important marketing manager at a big corporation, but when I finally reached that dream job, I realized that that world was not for me. So, in 2017 I flipped my life upside down to start something for myself and become a food photographer.
Since then, I’ve been chosen as one of Adobe’s Rising Stars worldwide, I got nominated for Pink Lady’s Food Photographer of the Year award, I was featured on RTL4’s Het Perfecte Plaatje as an expert in food photography, and I had the pleasure to work with brands like Kentucky Fried Chicken, Tefal, and La Place. My goal is to be the best food photographer worldwide, and to help people follow their passion for photography. Now let’s get back to capturing drinks!
With all the equipment, light, melting ice, reflections in the glasses and falling in cappuccino foam, drink photography can get very tricky. But I will show you how, with a very simple setup, anyone can make great beverage pictures at home.
