  • The result of my LIVE food styling session from 2 weeks ago, thank you for watching! You can see a little "behind the scenes" in my reeels.  Merengue with red fruit and whipped cream.   I used myself as a hand model and used the "interval timer" button to shoot as many photos as possible.  I made the white background out of canvas with its own texture.   • #onlyoneswirl Try to think differently, out of the box. That's also how I entered into #onlyoneswirl. I went looking for liquid shapes, with which you could create swirls.   You can see that the my softbox with grid reflects in the texture. I actually thought that was very beautiful. WARNING this is really addictive.   Or this soft pink backdrop, can you see the different textures in it?   • My goal for the new year is photographing with artificial light and more often planning my own free styling.    Quite a challenge with kids at home, got 2 more big food photography assignments and a cookbook assignment in one week and finished the last things for my online @diybackdrops course.    What is your goal for the new year?  If you set a goal, you're going to think differently and see how you can achieve it.
